Carly won her second straight provincial tournament MVP to close out her high school basketball career in style Tuesday.
The Rural Raiders defeated Westisle 56-52 in the gold medal game of the PEISAA women’s AA championships at Holland College.
Carly poured in 29 points, while adding numerous rebounds and blocks/deflections, to lead the Raiders. Teammate Lily Gallant, Rural’s player of the game, added 17 points, including three, three pointers.
The girls are also battery mates for the 2025 Canada Games girls fastpitch softball team, competing this summer in St. John’s.
