Nations Qualified for Curling at Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games 2026

After two seasons of fierce international competition, the eight National Olympic Committees (NOCs) that have secured direct qualification for the men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles curling events at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games have now been confirmed.

Teams claimed their NOC spots by ranking among the top eight [including hosts, Italy] NOCs in Olympic Qualification Points earned across the 2024 and 2025 World Championships in each respective discipline. Find out more about the Olympic Qualification here.

While eight teams have already booked their tickets to the Games in each category, two spots remain open per competition. These final places will be determined at the Olympic Qualification Event that is set to be held in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada in December.

Men’s competition

The NOCs that have earned their spot in the men’s competition at next year’s Games are (in qualification order):

  • Italy (Qualified as hosts)
  • Great Britain (Scotland)*
  • Canada
  • Sweden
  • Switzerland
  • Germany
  • Norway
  • Czechia

Women’s competition

The NOCs that have earned their spot in the women’s competition at next year’s Games are (in qualification order):

  • Italy (Qualified as hosts)
  • Canada
  • Switzerland
  • Republic of Korea
  • Sweden
  • Denmark
  • Great Britain (Scotland)*
  • People’s Republic of China

Mixed Doubles competition

The NOCs that have earned their spot in the mixed double’s competition at next year’s Games are (in qualification order):

  • Italy
  • Estonia
  • Sweden
  • Great Britain (Scotland)*
  • Norway
  • Canada
  • Switzerland
  • United States of America

* Points for Great Britain are gained by Scotland at World Curling championships.
